Lawlessness is violating the Torah of our Heavenly Father as recorded in scripture. So many people claim to love The Messiah yet fail to obey what He taught and commanded. He taught what was given Him by His Father. The Torah, better defined as instructions, was given well before Moses. Yet Moses recorded it as he was commanded. It is what Yeshua knew as well as every Israelite alive in His time in the flesh. Paul was extremely well versed in the Tanach and walked and taught from it after his conversion on the road to Damascus. Paul left the oral traditions of the leaders of his time.
There will be many who disagree with this information. That is to be expected. After all, we would not have all the different christian denominations if we all agreed. I personally don’t do any dogma or doctrine of man. It is carnal and steers away from The Heavenly Father and His Son, The Messiah who is The Word that became flesh.
The problem faced by so many is the definition of sin. If all you look at is the “new testament” you will not understand what sin is according to our most Holy and Beloved Creator. If all you do is listen and believe your pastor, well you have nothing meaningful to add to any discussion no matter how “godly” a man (or woman) he/she is.
Here is something to consider. Not everyone will be chosen to understand. Why? Because He truly knows your heart and IF you will be obedient to Him and serve only Him as He is truly a jealous God. He does not accept those who refuse to obey His Torah.
I walk according to the Torah in Spirit and in Truth because the flesh is at enmity with Our Beloved Holy Father. I walk according to His righteous instructions not according for salvation. I do the works because I love our Heavenly Father and fear the consequences for our disobedience. Messiah Yeshua gave His life for the penalty of sin which is death. His grace is sufficient for me. However, His grace will not cover me if I were to continue sinning. Sin, again, is defined by scripture as transgressing the Torah often defined as the law.
Repentance does you absolutely no good if you do not turn to our Most Holy and Gracious Heavenly Father and either begin to obey or return to compliance to His Torah. You cannot be saved by obeying Torah in and of itself. Obedience to Torah requires faith in Messiah Yeshua. Thus it is written faith without works is dead. We work out our salvation daily. It is written that we have hope in salvation. There would be no reason to hope in salvation you have and can’t lose.
Our Heavenly Father desires you to repent and obey Him and not the world and its foul ways. Turn from the worldly ways which are the ways of the flesh. Stop sinning, it is not burdensome as you suppose. It is indeed freedom. He is light, His Torah is light and we become His light as we walk in obedience as a true “Child of Yehovah”.
When we grew up we obeyed our parents out of love and fear. Why would you not obey your one and only Father who is in heaven in love and fear? We are not to call anyone our Father except our Creator.
Repent now, while you can. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Empty yourself to be filled with His Spirit. His Spirit leads us into all truth according to Him.
May His Shalom be with you.
